We begin our hike in front of the thermal baths in Bad Vöslau and follow the Malfattiweg or Jägermayerstraße uphill until we turn left onto Florastraße. Once we reach the roundabout, we take the path through the spa gardens, past the Kursalon, until it opens onto a forest clearing. From here, we follow the trail toward Harzberg (yellow). Upon reaching Harzberg, we arrive at the Harzberg Tower. We follow the trail (blue) eastward toward the Vöslauer Hütte. Soon we come to a signpost pointing toward the Bad Vöslau 2018 Climbing Garden, which we follow (blue-yellow). After the climbing garden, we keep left at the first fork in the trail and follow the markings (blue-yellow) until we reach the Dolomitenwerk. We now follow the trail westward along the Steinbruch-Runde until we reach a marked fork in the trail. We take a shortcut by keeping to the right and shortly thereafter reach three caves (on the right). Continuing along the trail, we take the first path to the left after the caves and rejoin the Steinbruch-Runde until it joins the yellow-marked trail. At the next intersection, we take the left path heading east. We reach a signpost pointing toward Harzberg and turn right onto a narrow, downhill path that begins with steps. We come to a paved road and follow it through the spa park to the roundabout. From there, we take Maital Street back to the thermal baths.
Please be careful in the forest, as the cold may cause some areas to be slippery.
