Sturdy shoes, rain jacket, water, backpack with essential personal items

We start at the “Gasthof zur schönen Aussicht – Schöny” and follow Sulzer Straße downhill until we reach a hiking trail, which we follow straight ahead toward Wöglerin (blue). We pass the “Bäumchenwiese” and continue on to some wetland areas, and from there to an intersection with a farm driveway. From here, we keep to the right (blue trail) to reach the forest path that connects to the “Linke Wöglerin.” Once we arrive at Gasthof Wöglerin, we hike downhill toward Stangau. Here, we cross a bridge and follow the country road for a short distance (to the right). Then we turn left onto a forest road and follow the sign toward Ramaseck (blue). When we reach a crossroads, we follow the red trail markers, which lead us back to Hochroterd (left).
Please be careful in the forest, as the cold weather may cause some areas to be slippery.
