Gasthof Renzenhof

Description

The Renzenhof is located where the Kaumberg stream flows into the Triesting. It has been a pilgrims' inn since 1532. The Pfeiffer family has been running the inn since 1982 and also runs a small farm. There are two guest rooms to choose from, as well as a peaceful orchard with seating and a pilgrim's bar. The rooms are simply furnished and bright.

The excellent cuisine offers regional specialties, and as a "tut-gut-Wirt" innkeeper, the focus is on fresh and healthy produce such as honey, Cider, organic milk, sheep's cheese, herbs and vegetables. Many seasonal delicacies can also be found on the menu: game, wild garlic, asparagus, suckling pig, trout or Martinigansl. Products from our own farm are available to buy from the farm.

Pilgrim buffets and menus can be put together on request. Snacks are "tailor-made" to the size of a rucksack.

Rita and Hans Pfeiffer are at your disposal as Via Sacra experts. If you arrive as an overnight guest, we will welcome you with a refreshing glass of Grander water.
