Gasthof Skilitz
Tavern / innThis business is excellent…
Description
Gasthof Skilitz is located at the end of the Helenental valley in Siegenfeld. As small and inconspicuous as this village may seem, the community near Baden is not to be scorned, especially from a culinary point of view. For over 50 years, the Skilitz family has been spoiling locals and visitors alike with fine inn cuisine. It is the Austrian specialties that attract guests time and time again. The cooked beef from baby beef from Heiligenkreuz is skillfully prepared in the inn. Crunchy, creamy creamed vegetables and parsley potatoes round off the dish perfectly. An old favorite promises an intense taste experience: roast pork with sauerkraut and bread dumplings. Themed weeks around beef, game and goose are among the seasonal highlights.
Maximum enjoyment in the Wiesengastgarten
Gasthof Skilitz no longer has anything to prove. The family business has found its place on the culinary map of the Vienna Woods. However, the landlords Martina and Alfred Skilitz are not resting on their laurels. They are constantly tweaking the down-to-earth tavern classics. Trying out new things. And they are expanding their own product range: bratwurst, black pudding, lard, schnapps, syrups and fruity jams are all homemade and guests are happy to take them home with them. Before that, however, an enjoyable stay in the Kaiserstüberl, Ebenbergstüberl or charming guest rooms is on the program. In summer, the Wiesengastgarten is usually the preferred choice.
