Kottingbrunn train station

Kottingbrunn station is located in the middle of the market town of the same name in south-eastern Lower Austria. The two structurally separate platforms at the station are easily and safely accessible via an underpass. In addition to loudspeaker announcements and timetable displays, two ticket machines are also installed on site.

The beautiful moated castle of Kottingbrunn can be seen from the station. The recently renovated walls, which house the municipal office as well as the museum and the castle restaurant, are resplendent in new splendor. The moated castle offers a particularly atmospheric setting for seasonal events, such as the enchanting Advent market.

Paths along nature

The culture and nature trail uses the magnificent Kottingbrunn moated castle as its starting point and leads along a route of around 2.3 kilometers with numerous adventure stations. However, the stations on the circular walk not only provide plenty of variety and fun for visitors with a thirst for knowledge and a thirst for exercise - many seating areas and natural oases offer the opportunity for many a relaxing break.
