Train station Purkersdorf center

Purkersdorf Zentrum station is centrally located in the municipality of the same name in the Vienna Woods region of Lower Austria. The two spacious platforms with the reception building and a waiting shelter can be reached safely via an overpass. Tickets can be purchased from the two ticket machines.

More than 210 parking spaces are available to rail travelers in the Park & Ride for cars and mopeds, and almost 50 parking spaces for bicycles make it easy for cyclists to transfer to the train.

Route information

• Purkersdorf Zentrum station is located on the Westbahn line from Linz to Vienna.
• The S50 express train to Neulengbach and the Westbahnhof to Vienna runs every half hour.
• Connecting buses to Vienna Hütteldorf, Sieghartskirchen, Gablitz and Irenental am Forst can be easily reached from the bus stop at the Park & Ride station.

Purkersdorf Nature Park

It is just a short 5-minute walk from Purkersdorf Zentrum station to Purkersdorf Nature Park. On 77 hectares in the middle of idyllic forests, there is a lovingly designed park that invites you to stroll and relax on marked hiking trails. Wild boar and deer feel just as much at home here as the animals in the petting zoo, while the many stations and adventurous playgrounds provide plenty of variety until you reach the Rudolfswarte, where you are rewarded for your forest tour with a magnificent view.
