Train station Unter Purkersdorf

The Unter Purkersdorf station is located in the municipality of Purkersdorf in the Vienna Woods region of Lower Austria and serves the Westbahn railroad line along with three other stops in the municipality of Purkersdorf.

In addition to waiting rooms, the station's large reception building also offers publicly accessible sanitary facilities and a ticket machine for purchasing tickets. Information on the current traffic situation along the route is provided by loudspeaker announcements, timetable notices and train destination displays.

More than 50 parking spaces for cars and mopeds are available for those transferring to the train thanks to the Park & Ride facility. Cyclists will find 17 parking spaces for bicycles at the Bike & Ride station.

Relax and enjoy - the Purkersdorf Nature Park offers a varied tour through shady forests on 77 hectares. On the trail of wild boar and deer, the forest paths lead past lovingly designed playgrounds, a large animal enclosure and numerous themed stations. Once you reach the Rudolfswarte, the already rewarding forest hike is crowned with a fantastic view.
