Enzesfeld-Lindabrunn

The market town of Enzesfeld-Lindabrunn in the district of Baden is known as the "gateway to the Triestingtal". Situated on the Triesting River on the edge of the Vienna Basin, the natural double municipality offers beautiful vacation and excursion opportunities. The Lindabrunn symposium site, most of which is a nature reserve - with a mystical stone sculpture park right next to the quarry - offers fantastic views. A hit for cyclists: several mountain bike trails as well as the Hohe Wand and Triesting-Gölsental cycle paths cross the village.

Enzesfeld-Lindabrunn: past & present
The first documented mention of both villages dates back to the 12th century. From the 18th century onwards, there was a permanent pitch-making operation, which was active until 1965. In the 19th century, the local Jauling forest area was known as a mining area for brown coal. Today, the perfect tee shot is practiced here at Enzesfeld Golf Club.
