Description
The ongoing maintenance of this trail is supported by Bernhard Kohl Fahrrad & Fitness.
The Anninger Trail is an easy single trail that is interesting for all types of bikers. The natural trail is very winding and offers pure riding fun and small MTB elements for young and old, beginners and pros alike. The special feature is the gentle gradient, so everyone feels at home here. And if you want to be fast, you have to step on the gas.
The Anninger Trail is located in the Anninger Mountain Bike AreaThe Anninger Trail can only be ridden downhill. This trail is reserved for mountain bikers. Nevertheless, we ride considerately and at half speed. Short segments are designated as shared trails. It is forbidden to ride on the trail!
- safety instructions Please be careful and cautious at intersections! Before every ride, check the functionality of brakes, tires, and suspension fork/shock absorber. Always ride with visibility and controlled speed and adapt the choice of route to the riding skills of the group and the ground conditions. The Fair Play rules must always be followed. Single/shared trails as well as built routes in trail parks and trail centers often have stones, roots, steep sections, steps, and tight bends that require specific riding skills. When in doubt, just dismount and push the bike.
- Equipment A safe and functional mountain bike is a requirement for all routes. Helmet and gloves protect in case of falls and can be supplemented by knee and elbow pads on single/shared trails. A modern mountain bike with disc brakes and sufficient tire tread is recommended. For single and shared trails from the red difficulty level, a full-suspension bike with modern geometry is recommended. Tools, tire levers, pump, and spare tube help in case of a breakdown. Sufficient supplies (drinks and food) should be carried, as well as a mobile phone and wind/rain jacket.
- Route description The trail starts at Grenzweg and leads to the starting point of the Anninger Uphill. In the last part of the Anninger Trail, there are 3 different lines. The blue variant allows an easy descent. The red and black variants are a highlight for technically skilled bikers. Stone steps and root sections characterize the last section, but please look carefully beforehand!
- Editor’s tip Unfortunately, there are no businesses directly on the route. However, you can reach the feeder Gasthaus Bockerl - Prießnitztal, from Prießnitztal to the Gasthaus Bockerl for a stopover.
