Description

The stream trail offers a beautiful connection between the end of the Sauberg trail and the South Tyrolean trail or the cycle path towards Klosterneuburg. Along the Weidlingbach stream, the trail leads along the Weidlingbach valley in a relaxed and flat manner and is therefore also a good option for biking to or from the Weidlingbach trail park. Near the northern end, the trail is a little narrower and you have to make way or dismount if you meet hikers or bikers. Caution is advised here due to the sometimes steep slope next to the trail, especially with oncoming traffic. This section is also the only technical challenge where we recommend dismounting. This is a short, rooty and stepped ramp which requires a lot of strength and technique uphill towards Sauberg/Weidlingbach and leads downhill towards Südtiroler/Klosterneuburg.

The "Bach Trail" is a shared trail! As we bikers respect other forest users, we are also allowed to use certain specially signposted hiking trails in the Vienna Woods.

This trail was created by Wienerwald Trails and adapted and built by Wienerwald Trails.
