Baden bei Wien - Vom Kurpark zur Proksch-Hütte

Description

On this tour, we first get to know the character of Baden's Kurpark, which merges seamlessly from a landscaped cultural landscape into the Vienna Woods. After the beautiful views from the Beethoven Temple and the Rudolfshof, the route descends to Pfaffstätten Einöde. From there, the actual ascent begins via the "Große Kiental" up to the Pfaffstättner Kogel (541m) with the Rudolf Proksch huts and Klesheimwarte. The ascent is not too long and only a little steeper at the end, so even smaller children can experience the summit. Once at the top, the reward is good food, an adventure playground and a magnificent view. On the way back, we experience the Thermenregion Vienna Woods up close via footpaths and forest trails and then continue through the characteristic wine landscapes of the Thermenregion.

Fun fact: adventure playground for children at lofty heights with swings, slides, tree houses and rope slides.
