One of three "Spürnasenrunden" hikes adapted for small children with nice discoveries along the way.
These 3 shorter circular trails adapted for children, starting from Baden, Heiligenkreuz and Alland respectively, contain station boards with small tasks and puzzles about the "Stories from the Vienna Woods" to sweeten the walk a little for the little ones. Age recommendation for the puzzles/quizzes/tasks: 3-6 years
For more information about the hiking trail, visit theStories from the Vienna WoodsHomepage.
Despite the most careful research, there may be unforeseen short-, medium- or even long-term closures on the routes (e.g., due to forestry restrictions by landowners). Recommended parking options may be private or fee-based – please pay attention to the local signage. Some paths may partly or entirely lead through fee-based businesses/areas (e.g., nature parks or gorges). This is usually explicitly mentioned in the description. All information is provided without guarantee and the use of the paths is at your own risk. Any path closures and notices from hunters and landowners must be observed.
Sturdy footwear, water, rain protection
We turn into Siegenfeldweg and follow it until shortly after the White Cross. Then we turn right and follow the path past the Bodenberg grave to the starting point.
Unfortunately, there are no dining options along the route. However, you can stop at the Klostergasthof Stift Heiligenkreuz.
