Description
The Troppberg route II is a 28.24-kilometre mountain bike tour that is classified as moderately difficult with 653 meters of elevation gain. A particular highlight of this route is the Troppberg itself, which is an insider tip with its light-flooded beech forests and unspoiled nature over long stretches. The Troppbergwarte, built in 1991 at an altitude of 542 meters, offers a magnificent view over Vienna, the Tullnerfeld, the Wachau and the foothills of the Alps as far as Schneeberg and Ötscher. The route also leads through one of the 37 core zones of the Vienna Woods Biosphere Reserve, which makes the tour particularly attractive from an ecological point of view.
