Mountain bike tour Starting from Hinterbrühl, Höldrichsmühle
A nice tour around the Anninger and through the well-known wine villages of Gumpoldskirchen, Thallern and Pfaffstätten.
The Thallern route is a varied circular mountain bike tour in the Vienna Woods, which leads through idyllic wine villages, dense forests and gentle hills for around 39 kilometers. The route starts at the Höldrichsmühle mill in Hinterbrühl and runs via Gaaden and Siegenfeld into the picturesque Helenental valley. Along the cycle path through Baden, the route continues to the Thallern winery, one of the oldest wineries in Austria, as well as through the well-known wine villages of Pfaffstätten and Gumpoldskirchen. A short section along the railroad near Mödling provides a change of pace before returning to the starting point via the Priessnitz Valley and the Unterer 3-Stundenweg. With a mix of asphalt, gravel and forest paths, the tour offers both riding fun and impressive views of the rolling hills of the Vienna Woods.
